Symbolism

Message from Leona:
Finding meaning through symbolism is your mind's way of trying to connect your spirit to a greater purpose, the divine energy that connects us, so that we 'may be One'. Saron Sophia is founded on symbolic meaning and gestures.
Name:
The name itself being a combination of Charles' and my middle names. Both very meaningful family names, Charles being named after our maternal grandfather and me being named after our paternal grandmother. Both of these kind compassionate spirits helped formulate who we each became, individually.

For me, though I never knew my grandfather since he passed when I was a baby, stories told me that he was a very hardworking, empathic man who truly cared deeply for people. My grandmother Leona, gave me a big name to live up to - shoes I could probably never fill in my lifetime. She also was a hardworking, gentle soul with a stubborn determination that for a little wisp of a thing made her someone to be admired with great respect. She oversaw the farm, took in foster children, and provided for her two children while her husband worked on the multiple extended family endeavours, including serving in the political sector.
John 17:
Caring for Self ~ Loved Ones ~ Community/World, so that we 'may be One' in connectivity.
Though this is biblically-based, for the organization it is really about creating a spiritual foundation. The philosophy of which is that we must care for ourselves and in our own wellness we are able to care for our loved ones. And in taking care of our loved ones they in turn can care for the greater community/world. Hence, your legacy becomes on-going, continuing to grow beyond our lifetime. This is the true Song of Wisdom!
Logo:
The logo text for "Saron Sophia", represents the strong passion our father had for proper and beautiful penmanship. We were taught that your penmanship represented your character, and your signature was an artform that reflected your worldly self. But it is the apple blossoms that really share the story.
Apple Blossoms
In the logo there are two apple blossoms waiting to bear fruit, entwine together as if holding hands. These blossoms know that they are strong, but it is only in the coming together that they can bear the fruit that will give them meaningful purpose.  And the heart-shaped leaves are symbolic of the love that this purpose shares out into the world due to their connection.

As he neared his transitional journey from this world, Charles read me a portion of the will he wrote in 2018, specifically for me:
"Looking back at my life, I tried to think of my biggest regret. There were so many. But the purest and kindest thought that I did not act upon was your desire to have an Apple Orchard... my favorite story as a child was Johnny Appleseed. In a way, I always wanted my life to be a wanderer who planted seeds. My warmest moment was when little Dani [Charles' beautiful daughter] was read Johnny Appleseed just twice...She had memorized every page and could even be given a word and she knew what page that word was on. So, it seems fitting to give you a chance for your destiny, if I can help it along just a little. Plus I trust you to care for others better than I was ever able. (Maybe plant one apple tree for me somewhere and make it a virtual memorial.)" - Charles 2018
I am planting away dear brother, for you are worthy of more than just one tree.
As promised, I will lovingly "keep working away."
